So I'm here at malaysia already. Left the house at 6am and got here to my cousin's house only at 6pm. Ridiculously long journey here but that's also because we stopped by Malacca halfway for some shopping. Mickey got fatter, and thankfully he didn't barked when I stepped in. So afraid of dog's barks! Hopefully a good and enjoyable 3 days stay over here, got 2 cousins here under the same roof as me :) I wna be back at Singapore too, I'll just make the best out of it here. Happy chinese new year!!!!!!!

I got it wrong in my previous post till Ethel told me. It wasn't 2011, its 2012 already was I dreaming that time. Six days into the new year and I'm here to set my goals for the year. Gets really boring because everyone's doing theirs, so am I because I want to. And feel accomplished when I look back.

In 2012 I want to,

Stretch myself and learn more. Love without walls. Never give up. Do what I love. Run a marathon. Learn a few songs on the guitar. Save up for an itouch. Spend time with family and friends. Seek God. Forgive even when it’s hard. Smile often. Be grateful in all circumstances. Try new things. Work hard. Embrace change. Hesitate less. Make every moment count. Be thankful. Be happy. Pray not only in bad but also in good times. Live for today. And above all, trust in God.

I want to have a sausage dog after watching some cute video. Though I'm still scared of dogs.

Sweden was amazing

 HEJ! (It means hey in swedish) I've gots so much to say about the Sweden trip. It was a good 10 days with the team. Had so much fun, made all of us missed it so much the moment we touched down back at Singapore. Weather there was really cold. And there's the smoke smoke thing that comes out from my mouth whenever I talked. SO COOL I thought it only happens in movie!!!! The smoke thing still amuses me.

 
Lodge 32 was our home for the first 5 days. Enjoyed my stay there!


Had 10 people in a room and I got to sleep on double deck bed! On top of jazzy yeo. Hehe some nights when I couldn't sleep I moved alot and woke her up, opps!!! Sorry!


Cup noodles for late nights where we were allowed to stay up. There'll be this cool little table outside our room where we can all just sit and talk till we get chased in.



And GOD JUL means Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Food there wasn't fab but I love their muffins! I wish I could have them for all of my breakfasts!!!! Apple cinnamon nom nom. Lunch and dinner were always catered with the execeptions of a few times where we ate out. I had kebab meal which we shared with 3 people because the portion was so HUGE and we 3 still felt super full even though we shared!

Experienced taking the subway, shivering in the cold winds, cuddling together in the cold while waiting for our bus, having tough long 4hr trainings, bathing in the open, touching snow, watching elite matches oh and I must say SWEDISH GIRLS ARE SO PRETTY!


Yay my dearest girl! WE WENT SWEDEN TGT!!!

Christmas eve and christmas day was spent sightseeing at stockholm. It was an amazing time. Finally got to admire the scenery, skies were blue and clear, people-watch, visit little sweden and shopping places.

 

This was at Christmas market. And say hi to all my kids! 

 

We watched changing of guards. It was quite cool! I saw those macho firece guards, those that really wouldn't smile and talk at all!!!!!!!!! And I saw guards with horses too.

Christmas lunch at coach's house where we tasted lots of traditional swedish food. I wouldn't say it tasted bad, but it wasn't too my liking. Had lots of fun putting up perfomances like skits and songs for our teachers. Joyful christmas indeed :)

Uppsala was our competition venue. 3 full days of competitions. Itinerary for us was literally breakfast, match, lunch, match, dinner match, debrief sleep. It was tough. We lost all the matches, which was expected because Sweden is number 1 in the world for floorball. We're nothing compared to them. It was really an eye opener watching sweden teams playing, how fast they move and how accurate their shots were. Awed.

Back in Singapore our guys can easily trash a school 17-1, but here in sweden its the other way round. But I'm so so so inspired by Sweden teams. We all just wna be like them! Bitter in the beginning but sweet at the end because the girls did a superb job for our last match. A sweet goal, tasted like candy :) 

Love how this trip bonded close so much closer together. I love these girls to bits now!!!

 

And thermal sleeping bag in classrooms for us during our Uppsala stay. Which reminds me of an incident and Ms Seah told me she'd never forget me as the girl who got locked out outside. Hahahaha sigh.

 

 I thank God for this amazing trip. For the girls, teachers, coach and everyone. I love how God was with me through this trip as well, waking up early in the morning to do qt with few of the girls, and just praying for his strength to be with us for the day ahead. Hej do! (It means bye teehehehe)

Back from Sweden. Best than ever. Cold, fun and unforgettable, just like ice cream. 2011 came, past and go. Now its 2012. Anticipating a year of more endurance and strength. Miss my church homies so much I need to see them right now.

PPS: Just cut Dad's birthday cake because sadly I won't be able to celebrate with him this year again. Last year he was away at Shenzhen. He gave me two big slices because I'm leaving tonight and I wouldn't be able to eat the cake next morning. Yay to chocolate birthday cakes :) Happy birthday Daddy!

AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

I had an encounter yesterday, I don't know what words to use to describe it. But yeah an hour of lying on my bed hiding underneath my bedsheets and thanking God that I'm fine and everything is back to normal. So then I was alone at White Sands getting papers for christmas cards, fear creeped into me again and I felt teary in my eyes. I'm just glad its all over.

TWO MORE DAYS BEFORE I FLY!!!!! Am getting quite excited over the trip now. I've this huge luggage but I don't really want to use it because its really really that big. Wanted to use the smaller one but ITS TOO SMALL! Even Jazreel was laughing about it! I sneak-peeked at Jeanette's luggage and was so amazed by the way she packed her stuffs. So I followed suit and rolled all my clothes! Feels so accomplished at my half packed luggage now. I've lotsa empty space though because I already have a huge luggage yet I'm still rolling my clothes.

Had fhm chalet and we baked the world best brownie before that!!!!!!!!!!!

And I miss Mrs Kee so so so much! My amazing teacher who saw me through my D7 to A1 chemistry result for O's, I remembered that moment vividly :)

And then I met up with the girls for a mini afternoon picnic!

 

Haven't met up the rest of the girls yet because schedules keep clashing and I really miss them all alot :( Anyway these few days I was so lazy to choose music to play in my playlist that I decided to just listen to radio913 because 987 plays techno songs sometimes which I don't fancy. Then some were like you still listen to the radio?!?!?!!! YES I DO HAHA 

 Post Mission Trip Celebration though I didn't go for mission trip instead but I am so blessed by their stories when they came back!!! So proud that they did God's work and will there. So happy that they too were blessed and empowered from the trip. And look at the pretty christmas cake that Joel's mum baked for us! IT TASTED AWESOME!!!!!!!! And omg I'm looking forward to christmas right now.

The other day where we cooked our own dinner, I love cooking together as a group! Hate the oil splattering part though, will always give this job to the guys.

We were like "WIND TUNNEL!!!" From New Girl, which they influenced me to watch.

And I went shopping + blic with Mich too yay :) Haven't upload the photos yet, soon babe! I found a mini corkboard so I put it to good use and pin/hang up my friendship bands and necklace. I love friendship bands, those brown plaits kind, leather, beads, knots, anything.

Omg and you know what, I opened the fridge yesterday and found a rich chocolate cake inside! Time to eat some cake now yum yum!

I kinda miss netball very much. Holding onto the ball, stepping into the center circle, running and making dodges, miss the sport alot. As well as the team! Sat down in our school's newly built indoor sports hall and talked about our coach, juniors, how jc stole our happiness. We all haven't changed much! Just that Eelin is slightly less bimbo now, which is kind of sad because I love her bimbo-ness!

Left school and squeezed 13 people into Celine's car like how we used to. I remember we always used to do that when we're going for competitions, unlike the other teams who got chartered buses. Then shocking passer-byes when we came down from the car one by one.

Headed to cell right after. Had a real meaningful time of reflecting  2011. The good and the bad. Victories and failures. Well its been a fairly fast year for me. And I really love reflecting. Makes me think alot! Mel asked us to sum up the year into 3 words. For me it was blessing, surrendering and enduring. Really sad me and Jazreel are gonna miss our cell's thanksgiving and christmas week :( Can't wait for upcoming sweden which is in a week though!!!!! Shall send a whatsapp message to god, please snow.

Oh yeah floorball trainings are doing good for me. Its tough, but learning alot from it. Been having a couple of friendly matches. Shall not delve into the details but very much enriching. I just find it so hard to be good at floorball now, I needa have more confidence in myself.

I've got so much things on my mind to complete. I needa get myself a new pair of denim shorts, shop for christmas presents, write some cards, catch up on studies, make a trip down to Mount Zion and look at books, find a new bb cover.

It was raining in the morning today so we couldn't run on the track for pt. Instead we climbed stairs. Did 28 flights up and down mj, and now my thighs are aching. Would still prefer to run on track, its much easier for me. I miss Jazreel please come back soon!!! One more day I can't wait for my whole cell to be back I wna hear stories from them :)

I baked cupcakes yesterday, with two lovely girls ash and ven. Pretty chocolate cupcakes with white choc as icing! I love to bake, especially the moment the nice smell coming out from the oven AND YOU KNOW ITS A SUCCESS! When I'm a mother, I'd take up baking classes and bake often for my kids.

I'm typing whatever that comes to my mind. I'd love to paint a skyscrapper on room  wall, if I'm given the chance. And stick some glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceilings. Parents are watching xfactor now, feel like going out to watch too. But maybe not I'm on my roller chair, wna roll to my bed soon.

How long does it takes to know a person? Forever is never enough. Because the moment they start changing, you don't know them anymore.

Work's finally over. Chalet is over too. As well as the friendly match with East View. Third time working at sitex, first samsung next lenovo and now toshiba. Honestly speaking lenovo is still the easiest to sell, I miss working for that brand. But it was another great experience this time, enjoyed working at every it fair. Meeting funny customers, enjoying lunch & dinner during breaktime, helping out one another with annoying customers.

Haha! I met a super cute auntie! The emcee was going "Last 2 laptops going for 899! Okay another one gone, LEFT LAST ONE" Then I was like "OMG AUNTIE LAST ONE ALREADY!!! i5 8GB RAM QUICKKK!!" And she went "I BUY I BUY!!!!!" And I pulled her hand to the counter hahahaha.

 

I miss putting up decorations on christmas tree!!!! Dad threw away our house's christmas tree because it was dirty. But I'm feeling the festive season still! Walking past shops playing christmas songs makes me wna go caroling. I always wanted to try that out!

  

 This girl is away on mission trip with our cell to Malacca. Hope they're all doing good there :) Texted them before they left WILL MISS ALL OF THEM SO MUCH!!! Told them to take lotsa pictures with the kids for me to see, and I told Josiah to give the kids chocolates too. I'm very sure they will be happy!!!!!! Really wish I could be there, next year I hope. Miss you much Jaz :) 

Friendly match with East View went alright. We wanted to win but ended up with a draw. And I did a amazing butt-fall after scoring one. Tailbone still hurts a little! Team mates played well, really proud of them. This is a stepping stone for more matches ahead.

I think mental willpower works alot for me! I told myself I needa get at least 3 sales on the second day of sitex, and yes did it. Then the next day at least 5, and amazingly reached 7. And for the match I told myself I'm going to get in at least 1 goal, and I did it. I like how I focus on what I want to achieve, and I aim for it. Okay going keep up the tempo!

And then it was chalet! A whole bungalow to ourselves. Whipped up our own dinner which was quite yummy, played games in the wee hours, talked, watched abduction, slept in some awkward small space, cooked mee goreng + egg for breakfast and cleaned up the entire house. Another episode of great memories!
